Registration for Jump Start Summer 2024 is now open!
This great opportunity is open to incoming 10th, 11th, 12th graders & 2024 graduates.
Jump Start Summer 2024 is an opportunity for high school students to earn:
- An Industry-Based Credential (IBC)
- Academic Credit (1.0 Carnegie Credit)
- Engage in Work-Based Learning
- Earn a summer wage of $1,140 plus a chance for a $500 bonus upon successful completion of an IBC

- Class held virtually via Google Classroom and will intern for an average of 20 hours per week.
- Internship can be paid or unpaid; students will still earn the stipend upon successful completion of all classwork and working hours.
- Internships should be for one of the following high-wage, high demand fields: Health Sciences, Information Technology (IT), Automotive, or Skill Crafts and possess an IBC in the area or actively working towards it.

Up to twenty students will be accepted for each course; however, there must be a minimum of 10 students interested to offer.
If many students apply, then a lottery will be used to draw names. Some students may be placed on a wait-list as well.
