Child Nutrition

Livingston Parish Public Schools
Department of Child Nutrition

Livingston Parish Public Schools is proud to offer healthy and nutritious meal choices. We provide a variety of entrees made from scratch, whole grain rich foods, an assortment of fruits and vegetables and low-fat milk choices.

Our menus are designed to meet the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations. Students are offered a minimum of five items daily for lunch and must select at least three of those items. Pursuant to Federal guidelines, students must select a half of cup of fruit or vegetables as one of the three items selected. The USDA has implemented these changes to encourage students to eat more fruits and vegetables.

We look forward to serving your student this school year!
