What is your favorite part of serving on the school board?

I value the opportunity to make decisions that positively impact our students and teachers. Seeing our students present before the board is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do—it’s all for them.

What inspired you to join the school board?

I am a lifelong resident and dedicated employee of LPPS, with children who have attended or are currently attending our schools, and a wife who proudly teaches here. I wanted the opportunity to give back to this amazing community and contribute to the decision-making process that shapes our exceptional school system. 

What do you hope to accomplish during your term?

I aim to continue collaborating effectively with all board members, recognizing and respecting our diverse perspectives while striving to make decisions that benefit all students. My goals include expanding the Denham Springs STEM Center with an addition and a field house. Additionally, I am committed to advocating for a well-deserved raise for our hardworking teachers.
